Call for papers: The Journal of Responsible Technology (4.9 Impact Factor) special issue on the “Ethics and Governance of Health technologies for Research, Clinical Trials and Practice in the Global Majority” is now Open for Submission!!

While clinical research and trials have globalized, the frameworks governing it – specifically Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) – remain predominantly Western-centric. This special issue aims to provide a critical platform for exploring and advancing the lifecycle of clinical research and trials through the lens of responsible research and innovation (RRI) and from the global majority context. Authors are invited to submit full-length original research articles, case studies, policy perspectives, and critical reviews to the special issue. By contributing your work, we’re collectively growing a body of literature that advocates for equity in global healthcare by strengthening global infrastructures and local capabilities to ensure that research and practice truly serve the evolving realities of the Global Majority.

Responsive and Adaptive Governance of DHT
Capacity Building and Infrastructure Issues
Public Engagement and Deliberation
Data Ethics and Governance
Artificial Intelligence used in Clinical Trials
Trustworthy Innovations for Clinical Trials, Research and/or Practice
